From 23 to 25 May 2025, the 6th International Academic Conference on Computer Vision, Image and Deep Learning (CVIDL 2025) was successfully held at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. The conference was hosted by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, organised by the School of Science and Engineering, supported by Shanghai University of Technology, and provided with full technical support by AiScholar. It attracted over 150 experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and leading industry companies worldwide, who gathered to discuss cutting-edge technologies, innovative applications, and future trends in the fields of computer vision, image processing, and deep learning, and to promote the deep integration of academic research and industrial practice.

 

Opening Ceremony

Conference opening ceremony On the morning of 24 May, Professor John Zhou, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, delivered the opening address on behalf of the host, extending a warm welcome to all leaders, experts, scholars, and industry representatives in attendance. He also expressed high hopes for the conference in promoting interdisciplinary innovation and the deep integration of academia, research, and industry, and looked forward to participants sparking intellectual exchanges and co-creating new chapters in academia in this vibrant coastal city of Ningbo. The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor He Xiangjian, Chief Professor of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Professors Dave Tower, He Xiangjian, and Bai Ruibin from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China respectively chaired the keynote speeches, while Associate Professor Lian Ming Lim chaired the invited reports.

Invited Session

During the invited lecture session, Professor Leng Lu from Nanchang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Associate Professor Li Wenjin from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China delivered speeches. The conference also attracted scholars from over 80 renowned domestic and international institutions, including Zhejiang University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Wenzhou-Kean University, Beijing Jiaotong University, and China Civil Aviation University, who presented oral reports and poster displays through a combination of online and offline formats, sharing the latest research trends in the field of computer science and further sparking academic exchanges.
