| Prof. Jinpeng WangCentral South University Wang Jinpeng is a Professor and Principal Investigator at the School of Computer Science, Central South University. He obtained his PhD from the National University of Singapore in 2024, under the supervision of NRF Fellow Mike Zhengshou. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees at Sun Yat-sen University. He has published a total of 13 papers as first or co-first author in CCF-A-class conferences and JCR Q1 journals, including CVPR, TPAMI, NeurIPS, ICCV and ECCV. His GitHub profile has over 5,000 stars. He possesses extensive engineering experience, including several years of experience in large-scale model pre-training (1,000 GPUs, 10 billion samples). He was a recipient of the Singapore AISG Scholarship and won first place in the 2022 CVPR Ego4D Challenge. | Prof. Guoxiong ZhouCentral South University of Forestry and Technology He has led or participated in seven research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Hunan Provincial Department of Education’s Key Projects, and the Changsha Municipal Natural Science Foundation. He serves as the campus coordinator for the Siemens Cup Smart Manufacturing Challenge at South China University of Forestry and Technology. He has published 81 papers in journals including *IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing*, *Knowledge-Based Systems*, *Computers and Electronics in Agriculture*, *Applied Soft Computing*, *IEEE Systems Journal*, *Control Theory and Applications*, and *Journal of Agricultural Engineering*, of which 42 are indexed in SCI and 14 in EI. | Assoc. Prof. Yizhen LaoHunan University Lao Yizhen, born in August 1991, is an Associate Professor and PhD supervisor. He has been recognised as a Huxiang Young Talent, a Changsha Outstanding Innovative Young Scholar, a Huawei Young Scholar, a Technical Expert Advisor for Mango TV, a ‘Yuelu Scholar’ at Hunan University, and a Model Post for Young Faculty Party Members at Hunan University. His research focuses on computer vision and computational photography. He has led research projects including a sub-project under the National Major Science and Technology Special Project on New Generation Artificial Intelligence and a Young Scientist Fund grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published numerous papers as first or corresponding author in top-tier computer vision journals and conferences, such as T-PAMI, IJCV, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV and ACMMM, and serves as a reviewer for NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV and AAAI. |
| Assoc. Prof. Lei ZhuHunan Agricultural University Zhu Lei, Associate Professor, holds a PhD in Engineering and serves as a Master’s supervisor. He is a recipient of the ‘Shennong Scholar’ Young Talent Award and has been recognised as a Young Key Teacher at Higher Education Institutions in Hunan Province. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the National Innovation Sub-Centre for Digital Agriculture (Tea), Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Engineering Research Centre for Rural Agricultural Informatisation, and Deputy Director of the School’s Discipline and Innovation Centre. He graduated from Central South University in 2020 and is engaged in research and technological applications in artificial intelligence and multimodal learning theory, including: multimodal content understanding and generation, visual question answering and dialogue, multimodal data retrieval, multimodal phenotypic analysis of crops, and downstream tasks such as multimodal large models in the agricultural vertical sector. Over the past five years, he has led one National Natural Science Foundation of China project, one Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, one key project from the Provincial Department of Education, one sub-project under the Provincial Key Research and Development Programme, one Yuelu Mountain Laboratory Seed Industry Special Project (Free Exploration), one key project for teaching reform research in provincial ordinary higher education institutions, and one project for degree and postgraduate teaching reform research; He has participated in two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, one Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, and one Provincial Department of Education Outstanding Young Scholars project. Published over 50 high-impact academic papers, including 26 SCI papers as first or corresponding author, 3 papers in CCF-B conferences, and 1 paper in a CCF-C conference (awarded the Best Application Paper Award). Publications include: IEEE-TMM, IEEE-TCSVT, ACM-TOMM, ACM-ICMR, IEEE-ICME, KNOWLEDGE-BASED SYSTEMS, IEEE-MULTIMEDIA and other authoritative journals. He has served as a programme committee member for the top-tier academic conference IJCAI-2020/2021, co-chair of the Special Session at the international conference ICCSI-2023, and a member of the technical committees for DLNN-2025 and ICCIC-2026.
